Pat + Alberta = GIANT BUCKS HITTING THE GROUND

Pat Alberta 150 inch 10 pointer!
Pat 190 inch Mule, WOW great job!

Well, I can't say I had much luck myself this hunt, but Pat made up for it! Pat shot this beautiful 150 inch 10 pointer on the 3rd night and then turned around and killed this awesome 190 inch mule the next night! I would say he's got the lucky horse shoe so far this year! Great job honey, I'm glad your pulling the slack!!

Mac Daddy Gators!

80 YEAR OLD MAC DADDY GATOR!!!!
                                                                  BIG GATOR!!!

Ya, you got it! GIANT GATORS hitting the ground!! We just got back from Louisiana with our good friends Hal Schaefer and Ken Cobb from Huntin the World Southern Style and we put the smack down on some awesome gators! We hunted with our good friends Jeromy Pruitt and Rob Pernedeau of Take Em Alive Adventures and we had the most blood pumping, adrenaline rushing time! It was absolutely unbelievable! Although we suffered through Hurricane Ike those boys still seemed to pull it off by putting us on some monster gators! I ended up shooting my gator on the last day, last minute!! We spotted him crossing the open water when I shot him.  It was the most thrilling feeling I have ever had to be that close to an animal of that caliber! It was so awesome! He ended up being 12 foot, 1 inch long, over 900 lbs and estimated age of about 80 years old! Can you believe it! That's crazy!!! Thanks again to all the guys that helped us out on that hunt at Take Em Alive Adventures! We had an unbelievable time, and once again WE WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR!!  Happy Hunting!

Velvet Bucks in North Dakota

2 beautiful North Dakota Bucks thanks to our Scent Blocker Suits!
Hey everyone! Well, we are at it again! Yes, fall is here and we are back in the swing of things! We kicked things off this year in North Dakota! Driven Team Member Jen Nolte made a perfect with her Mathew's on this beautiful buck on the second night out! Way to go girlfriend, we are so proud of you! Then Pat followed it up by shooting this beautiful 8 pointer in full velvet as well off the ground at 10 yards with his Mathew's! I have started out with not such good luck, missing a giant 8 pointer after getting caught up in my hunter safety system, but that's okay because on the last day I finally made up for it with a beautiful 8 pointer as well that had just shed his velvet the night before! What an awesome trip! The Driven Team is off on the right track this year! We hope your fall is going well for you too! Happy Hunting!

Alaska Trip

Beautiful Scenery! This was a glacier that was at the top of mountain!

Well let me tell everyone, Pat and I just got back from Alaska where we went Dall Sheep and Grizzly Bear Hunting at Pioneer Outfitters and we had an AWESOME time! We horseback rode 6 hours where we set up our spike camp to get ready for the trip! Unfortunately we didn't end up shooting any animals while we were there, but it definitely wasn't from lack of effort! We came close to a 7 foot grizzly bear that I was chasing but no such luck, he kept going the OTHER way, not the way we wanted! We also got close to a HUGE Dall Sheep after climbing up a huge mountain with the snow blowing sideways standing broadside at 200 yards and Pat shot right over his back, but I guess that's HUNTING! The trip and terrain definitely tested our endurance but we loved every minute of it! Our guides Spence and Levi were unbelievable! Thanks again everyone at Pioneer Outfitters, we had an awesome time and like we said, WE WILL BE BACK!!

Me and my girls! Look at the whopper Olivia caught! Great job girlfriend!
Olivia, Cole & Carson playing on the tube! They had so much fun together!

Well here we are summer is almost over (atleast for us) and I feel like I haven't even had a summer! We are getting ready for fall and it is coming quick! We finally got a chance to break away last weekend and head up to our cabin in Northern Wisconsin with the kiddos! We had a blast fishing and going out on the lake! Fall is coming, so you know what that means, get your deer slayin' shoes on, because here I come! Keep checking in to see what and where Pat and I are, because who knows where we might pop up next!

African Bound!

Gem's Buck. This was my favorite animal by far that I harvested while I was over there! He was so beautiful!
Kudu! This was probably my favorite day hunting out of the blind because we saw giraffes, rhinos, monkeys and a bunch of other critters before I finally got my shot on this beautiful animal.
He's so ugly...He's cute :) Warthog! OK so this was my buddy for the trip! How awesome looking are they?! He was to cool and their warts were of course my fav!
Pat's Blue Wildebeest-What a massive animal! These animals are so tough and Pat put a great shot on him and he only ran 70 yards before going down! Now that's african hunting at it's finest!

Hey Everyone! Can you believe it, our first trip to Africa and we had a blast! What a trip of a lifetime! Where else can you go and harvest so many animals in one trip?!! We packed our bags and made the 21 hour flight over to Johannesburg, South Africa where Erik Terblanche from Amanita Safaris was there to pick us up! We couldn't wait to meet up with our good buddy George Winslow of Bullseye Outfitters and get out there and go HUNTING! The first day out I shot a beautiful Impala and then Pat shot his both with our Mathew's. The day after Pat and I doubled on huge Gems Bucks...and that's not all, we are just getting started! Day 5 we both harvested monster Kudu with our bows! How awesome of a trip is this I kept thinking, how lucky can we really be?!! But the trip wasn't over yet, because the next day I harvested a warthog with my Knight KP1 and then Pat shot a huge Blue Wildebeest! What a trip is all I can say, everyone should travel and hunt in Africa before they die, because it was definitely an experience of a lifetime!
